You set the topic and the sources once. Poster does the rest on its schedule.

RSS feeds of news sites, Google News and X profiles. Duplicates and old stories are filtered out.

FAQ
What do I need to run Poster?
A NAS or a Linux server with Docker and Docker Compose v2, about 1 GB of free RAM and a Telegram bot. On a clean Ubuntu or Debian server the installer sets up Docker itself. The guide uses a UGREEN NAS with UGOS as the example, but any Docker host works.
How do I install it?
Log in to your NAS or server over SSH and run curl -fsSL https://posterapp.pl/install.sh | sudo bash. The
installer checks Docker (on Ubuntu or Debian it installs it if missing), downloads Poster, prepares the configuration, starts
the containers and shows the panel address with a one-time code for your password – you set everything else in the browser.

How much does running it cost?
Poster LITE is free. AI text usually fits in a free quota (a Gemini key from a project without billing) or runs on your own hardware with Ollama. Publishing through the X API is billed by X: in 2026 about USD 0.015 for a post with a photo and about USD 0.20 for a post with a link.
Can I publish my own posts, not only news?
Yes. In New post you write the text (optionally with a link and a photo), AI adapts it to every platform, and you
publish right away or after approval in Telegram. LITE posts to X and Facebook, PRO also to Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, a
Telegram channel and TikTok. In PRO you can also send the bot /post with your text or a photo in Telegram – the
draft comes back with ✅ – and schedule posts once or on repeat, with everything in a content calendar.
Does Poster work with my YouTube channel?
Yes, in PRO. Paste the channel link into a “YouTube channel” bot – Poster checks the public RSS feed of your videos every few minutes, so you need no YouTube login and no API key. Every new video gets a post with its thumbnail and a link on all platforms of the bot.
Do I have to expose my NAS to the internet?
No. The panel polls Telegram for button clicks and talks to the social media APIs with outgoing connections only. For remote access a VPN such as Tailscale is the simplest option.
What happens when the 12 months of PRO updates end?
Your installation keeps working with no time limit. Only updates stop until you renew the licence – with the Renew the license button in the Poster panel (Settings → PRO license), which fills in your key for you, or here. A renewal bought before the end date adds 12 months to it; after expiry you get 12 months from the purchase.
Can I move from LITE to PRO later?
Yes. After the purchase copy the license key from the order page (Access purchase in the email from Polar) and paste it
in the panel (Settings → PRO edition) – the panel checks it and shows one command to run over SSH:
sudo bash scripts/upgrade-to-pro.sh. PRO uses the same data directory, so your bot, keys and history stay where
they are.
Can I get a refund for PRO?
Yes – within 14 days of the purchase, as long as you have not activated the license. Checking the key in the panel does not
activate it; upgrade-to-pro.sh does, as it gives you the PRO code – from then on there is no refund without a
reason (problems with how Poster works are handled as usual). Write to
